Requirements

• DoD Clearance: Secret active on day one, ability to get TS and Special Access Programs (SAP)
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
• This position requires 12 months or more of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
• Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++, or Java, or similar high-level programming languages
• Experience with Scripting languages
• Clearly communicate plans, status, and issues to teammates and program leadership
• Ensure the successful integration of software components into delivered products
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Object Oriented and scripting languages
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
• Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems
• Experience working in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software using Java/C / C++ or modern software development language
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Software development lifecycle experience
• Well-developed communications skills and team collaboration skills
• Self-motivated
• Proven ability and desire to facilitate career growth and knowledge transfer
• Proven ability to provide technical solutions to complex issues
• Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, and DevSecOps
• Familiarity with MS Office or similar productivity applications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering builds
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, the ability to thrive in small, empowered teams, and an intense desire to directly enable our customer’s success
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code for performance and efficiency in complex environments
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, including system architecture and design specifications
• Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement
• Work collaboratively with multiple engineering disciplines to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline
