About The Position

As a Software Engineer II at Conga, you will be a key member of the Product Development team, helping innovate, design, develop, and support modern software solutions. Reporting to the Manager of Product Development, you will collaborate closely with product management, architects, engineers, UX/UI designers, back-end engineers, and data scientists to build effective, scalable, and high-quality solutions. In this role, you will primarily work with Java, web technologies, Azure cloud deployments, and modern microservices architecture. You will also support product feature development, participate in code reviews, contribute to testing and documentation, and help troubleshoot deployment or customer-reported issues. As a Software Engineer II, you will contribute directly to the products and platforms that help Conga customers simplify and improve complex commercial operations. Your work will support product innovation, platform quality, and the ongoing modernization of Conga’s technology ecosystem. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Conga’s AI platform, helping enable innovation across Conga products while building strong engineering practices through collaboration, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional software development experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++
  • Experience contributing to modern software applications, supporting product feature development, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Experience with object-oriented programming such as Java, C#, or C++
  • Knowledge of web application development using HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS
  • Knowledge of web services technologies such as SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, and REST
  • Understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and modern microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of algorithmic complexity principles, data structures, and time and space complexity
  • Ability to create unit and integration tests and support QA validation testing
  • Ability to participate in code reviews, pair programming, and technical knowledge sharing
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Experience with React development
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support modern software solutions as part of Conga’s Product Development team
  • Build and enhance product features primarily using Java and related web technologies
  • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications and services in Azure cloud environments
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, back-end engineers, data scientists, architects, and other engineering partners to build effective solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge exchange with colleagues
  • Conduct technical research to solve problems and support continuous technical improvement
  • Create unit and integration tests and assist QA teams with validation testing
  • Contribute to technical documentation for code, processes, and product features
  • Contribute to Conga’s AI platform to help enable innovation across Conga products
  • Research customer-reported incidents, identify root causes, make necessary code changes, prepare patch updates, and support deployment of updated applications and microservices
  • Support quality, scalability, maintainability, and reliability across Conga’s products and services
