About The Position

Amplitude is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Analytics Compute Platform Team. The role collaborates with engineers across Data Management, marketing analytics, Session Replay, Experiment, CDP, and other product teams, as well as the Query team. The engineer will own small-to-medium-complexity projects end to end in a rapidly changing system, with opportunities to grow through meaningful technical work, feedback, and collaboration with experienced engineers. The work includes developing query capabilities and shared services, improving reliability and performance, supporting safe system migrations, developing expertise in parts of the platform, and connecting technical work to customer needs. The position is hybrid in San Francisco. It is eligible for equity, benefits, and other forms of compensation. Listed base salary ranges vary by location: Colorado $86,000–$118,000; New York City $95,000–$131,000; and California $95,000–$131,000. No Washington salary figures are provided.
