The team supports HMND-01, Humanoid’s humanoid platform deployed in real industrial environments. The engineer will contribute to trusted boot and device provisioning, device trust and key protection, and device key management. The role involves working with NVIDIA secure boot and UEFI, hardware roots of trust such as TPMs, security technologies such as ARM TrustZone, and HSMs. The engineer will write, test, and debug software and scripts in Linux, investigate issues across software and hardware, and help reduce attack surfaces across device software, boot flows, and supporting tools. The role collaborates with security, firmware, cloud, manufacturing, and other engineering teams through design discussions, code reviews, and documentation. The engineer is expected to own well-scoped projects from design through implementation and testing, with input from experienced teammates. This position is based on-site at the San Diego office.
