About The Position

The Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center focuses on creating advanced Windows-based application solutions for high-performance products. Our Test Solution tools and systems play a critical role in supporting the full lifecycle of complex systems, from engineering labs and field operations to production environments. As a member of the Test Solutions team, you will engage in cutting-edge designs using the latest technologies, developing software solutions to integrate state-of-the-art engineering systems. You will have opportunities to contribute across all stages of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, tests, design verification, production, and sustainment.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Experience in developing software applications using programming languages including but not limited to C++, C#, Java, Python or Visual Basic.
  • Experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio is required.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in utilizing debugging tools to troubleshoot software implementation and ensure integrity of the software products
  • Knowledge in common computer hardware interface and data protocols such as TCP/IP or UDP
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile
  • Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and integrate object-oriented software applications using C#, C++ in Microsoft Visual Studio in a Windows Operating System (OS).
  • Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.
  • Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.
  • Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment .
  • Develop and derive requirements for software products .
