Our team is looking for Software Engineer II's and Senior Software Engineers to join us in shaping the standards and technology that companies depend on as AI transforms businesses. You’ll collaborate with Microsoft Research and cross‑functional engineering groups to push the boundaries of what modern security can do, especially in areas like reputation systems, heuristics, and automated incident response. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices.
- 1+ year of experience with software performance analysis and optimization of native code (C/C++)
- 1+ year of experience with using AI models and agentic flows
