About The Position
Greenlight is seeking a Software Engineer II, Frontend with a background in web development to join their Web Platform and Family Hub team. The ideal candidate will have experience in NextJS web application development, understand application design and development, and be willing to participate in the deployment and operational phases of the SDLC. This role reports to the Director, Engineering.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
- Expertise in React/Next.js/Remix, experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX.
- Drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform.
- Manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution.
