Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • 1 year of experience with embedded software development
  • 1 year of experience in Python and C/C++
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Active U.S. Department of Defense Clearance
  • Experience with Linux development environments
  • Experience in multiple phases of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Some experience with networking and communications protocols
  • Some experience with Rust programming language
  • Some experience with multithreading and containerization
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cutting-edge embedded software, networking and communication products in C/C++ and Rust
  • Drive project success by collaborating on requirements, implementation, test development, and certification
  • Lead initiatives and help organize tasks for team members
