About The Position

We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Account Management team, responsible for all aspects of Zoro.com account functions, including authentication, identity and access management, invoicing, payment terms, and address book capabilities. In this role, you will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions across the full stack, from intuitive user interfaces built with Vue.js to robust backend services developed in TypeScript. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to technical improvements that enhance both customer-facing features and core platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (TypeScript and Python preferred).
• Strong understanding of the interplay between front-end and back-end technologies in a fullstack environment.
• Experience working with highly available cloud-based microservices with a strong focus on non-functional requirements such as reliability, maintainability, and observability.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate design, implementation, testing, and documentation while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Familiarity with foundational AI concepts including large language models, prompt engineering, and applying AI tools in development workflows.

Nice To Haves

• An understanding of component-based architecture and reactive data models.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Experience working with infrastructure-as-code and deploying cloud-based resources using modern CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Serverless Containers.
• Experience working with telemetry data to support observability, monitoring, and debugging in production environments, ideally using Datadog.
• Experience with automation testing including unit, regression, and integration tests.
• Experience working with authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, including implementing secure login flows and role-based access control.
• Experience integrating with 3rd party platforms across tax compliance, invoice payments, ERP, and marketing automation is a plus.

• Assist in improving technical documentation while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
• Take ownership and resolve high-priority technical issues, ensuring a swift and efficient resolution while identifying opportunities for improvement.
