About The Position

CyberTrend is seeking a Software Engineer I with an Active TS/SCI with poly clearance. The company has 40 years of experience and is a technology leader on defense projects. CyberTrend provides talented and exceptionally qualified IT, architectural, system, and software engineering personnel. This position is a hands-on System Engineering/Signals Analysis role supporting a mission-critical system. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of system support, including requirements management, data management and analysis, system testing, and user support. Experience with modern communication networks and/or telephone engineering is required, in addition to strong hands-on engineering skills.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with poly clearance
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and basic writing skills
  • Basic Linux skills
  • Experience with modern communication networks and/or telephone engineering
  • Strong hands-on engineering skills
  • Strong Java + Spring Boot experience building microservices
  • Hands-on AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience
