Amplitude•San Francisco, CA
•$125,000 - $207,000

About The Position

The Agent Analytics team builds the systems that help customers understand and improve their AI agents. We turn agent traces, conversations, and evaluation results into useful insights, and connect that activity with the broader product experience. Our backend services and data infrastructure make this information reliable, easy to explore, and fast to query. As a Software Engineer I on the Agent Analytics team, you'll help build the foundation of a growing AI analytics product. You'll start with well-scoped backend and data pipeline features, pair with experienced engineers, and take on more ownership as you grow. Your work could include processing agent traces, building APIs for session exploration and data export, or improving the speed and reliability of our analytics systems. You'll learn how engineering decisions affect the experience customers have with the product. You'll work with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse, and learn how APIs, analytical queries, and asynchronous processing fit together in production. We value strong programming fundamentals and curiosity, and will help you build expertise in our stack and the evolving world of AI agents.
