Software Engineer I
About The Position
As a Software Engineer I at Indeed, you will contribute to the design and development of software that supports shared infrastructure and services used across the company. You’ll work closely with other engineers and cross-functional partners to build reliable, scalable solutions, participate in code reviews to uphold high engineering standards, and continuously grow your technical skills. You’ll also have opportunities to learn about AI models, tools, and their applications as Indeed responsibly explores how AI can help people get jobs.This role offers the chance to work with modern technologies while helping remove technical barriers for teams across Indeed and supporting experimentation at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Familiarity with AWS, Java, Kotlin, and/or React.js
- Passion to learn and develop new skills continuously
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain features for a suite of shared services and tools.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver well-designed solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Learn and apply new technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering.
