The software engineer will develop, design and test according to the objectives of DO-178B/C for certification on airborne systems with supervision. The software engineer tasks include the following: Requirements generation, design and architecture development, coding, integration, verification, validation, and document for existing and new safety critical products. Execution of development process is in accordance with RTCA DO-178B/C for safety critical products. Software and hardware system integration tasks on target hardware. Model Base Design techniques used in the development life cycle process. Software tool development written in C#, Python, and .NET Software verification in accordance with RTCA DO-178B/C.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities
