Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (or advanced degree) in Computer Science preferred; degrees in Computer Engineering or related technical fields will be considered with relevant experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience with Python 3, HTML, and JavaScript
  • 2+ years of professional experience with the MERN software stack
  • 2+ years of professional experience with Git/GitLab version control systems
  • 2+ years of professional experience with AGILE/SCRUM software development methodologies
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to manage time and priorities independently
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficiencies
  • Willingness to provide customer support (typically 5% travel)
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of professional experience software development/management
  • Professional experience using Java, C#, C++, or similar programming languages
  • Professional experience with CI/CD Pipelines, wxPython, cxFreeze
  • Experience designing software user interfaces with existing hardware
  • Experience with SCPI command structure
  • Demonstrated skill in technical writing and/or documentation

Responsibilities

  • Develop new software solutions throughout their full life cycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and documentation
  • Contribute to existing Python and MERN stack projects through development, debugging, testing, and documentation
  • Contribute to SCRUM celebration meetings, including standups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Assist with software installation in the field including on-site debugging as needed
  • Develop front-end and back-end software solutions, with testing architecture
  • Maintain and troubleshoot legacy software applications
