About The Position

Airgoods is a fast-growing wholesale marketplace for the specialty food and beverage industry. We help specialty stores centralize their wholesale supply chain by making it easy for them to order all of their inventory in one place. Our mission is to modernize the legacy grocery wholesale industry to be ready for the next 100 years. We started in January 2023, and have raised $3.4M from top investors like Y Combinator (S23) and Initialized Capital.

This role involves engaging deeply from concept to launch in the development of our product, from ideation, through design and implementation, to the final stages of release and iteration. The ideal candidate will be obsessed with building beautiful products that create value for our users, be scrappy, and ready to jump in wherever needed to provide the best experience for our users. This is a full-stack development role for our web app.

Requirements

• Production-level experience building full-stack applications.
• Proficient in Typescript to power our frontend React app, and NodeJS and Express backend.
• Expertise in relational databases; preferably PostgreSQL.
• Attention to detail and passion for building beautiful software.
• Previous experience shipping production-level code using our tech stack or similar technologies.
• Strong work ethic; committed to going the extra mile, even if it means working long nights and weekends to achieve our goals.
• Prioritize speed and have a bias for action.
• Strive for excellence in every aspect of your work; take ownership of your outcomes and overdeliver on your goals.
• Humble and eager to learn whatever it takes to help our team and our customers succeed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a start-up or building products from scratch and bringing them to market.
• Experience with advanced front-end technologies such as Redux for state management, or modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Experience in mobile app development (on the roadmap), either through native development (iOS/Android) or cross-platform frameworks like React Native.
• Expertise in NextJS or other server-side JS frameworks.
• Experience building scalable backend systems to support high-growth products.
