About The Position

AnaVation is seeking a talented Software Developer to support a mission-critical hybrid cloud big data program. The role partners with the customer and a team of engineers to develop capabilities supporting cybersecurity missions. The team researches, defines, and recommends technologies, and participates in all phases of the software development life cycle. The applications are highly customized, automate customer business processes, and enable analysis of datasets. The role is an on-site position based in San Antonio, Texas.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Obtain DoD 8570 IAT II certification (CompTIA CySA+ preferred; Security+ or equivalent acceptable) within 30 days of contract start.
• At least 4 years of software development experience, including each phase of the software development life cycle.
• At least 3 years of combined Back End or Front End software development experience, with hands-on experience in one or more listed technologies.
• Back End technologies include Java, PostgreSQL, REST API integration, SpringBoot, MongoDB, Accumulo, Go, Python, and Elastic Search.
• Front End technologies include JavaScript frameworks, GraphQL, Node.js, React (UI/UX and backend integration), Vue, jQuery, and HTML.
• Understanding of Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, GitLab, and GitHub.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in San Antonio, Texas.

Nice To Haves

• TS/SCI eligibility.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT II certification (CompTIA CySA+ preferred; Security+ or equivalent acceptable).
• At least 8 years of software development experience, including each phase of the software development life cycle.
• At least 8 years of Back End software development experience with one or more of Java, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, Go, Python, or Elastic Search.
• At least 8 years of Front End software development experience with one or more of JavaScript frameworks, Node.js, React, Vue, jQuery, or HTML.
• Experience implementing MISP and OpenCTI.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs).
• Experience with Keycloak, Government Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM), and integrating OIDC and OAuth applications and APIs.
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity operations.
• Cybersecurity certifications.
• Experience with classified system development and information assurance.
• Agile scrum master experience.
• AWS Cloud development experience and/or certifications.
• Experience with containerized development, such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD automation, such as Jenkins, Nexus, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Demonstrated experience creating RESTful web services.
