You own a user-facing surface end to end and sweat how it feels. We're hiring at the mid to senior level, with room for staff engineers who still love to build.
Requirements
- Ship with React, TypeScript, and Node.
- Obsess over polish and details.
- Have product instinct: ability to translate fuzzy customer pain into valuable features.
- Run on high agency: find work and drive it independently.
- Desire to work closely with customers.
- Have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex).

Responsibilities
- Own a user-facing surface end to end and focus on its user experience.
- Build the role around your strengths, whether frontend-heavy or a 50/50 frontend and backend split.
- Own projects from requirements to ship, partnering with PMs and designers.
- Work closely with customers through sales and support, and directly as desired.
- Utilize AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex for development.
- Contribute to the Dashboard & Visualization, Chat & Context, or Agents & Integrations teams.
- Generate code that produces high-quality visualizations, including charts and dense P&L tables.
- Develop data transformations to turn raw rows into financial statements.
- Create chart specifications that appear professionally made without performance degradation.
- Design the edit experience for AI-generated visuals, ensuring seamless interaction between follow-up typing and control adjustments.
- Build live-preview controls that rely on parameterized visuals and UI built from those parameters.
- Stream thinking processes of a chat agent as a clickable trace, allowing users to inspect steps.
- Transform complex tool calls into readable sentences for AI agent outputs.
- Build the React SDK for other data teams to integrate dashboards and chat functionality.
- Develop abstractions, APIs, documentation, and examples to make using WisdomAI easy.
