About The Position

Uniswap Labs is hiring its first new-grad engineering cohort. This program is designed to provide a structured approach to hiring and developing early-career engineers in the crypto space. Successful candidates will join an engineering pod, ship production code within their first few weeks, and be paired with a dedicated senior engineer for mentorship and growth. The role emphasizes full-stack development, allowing engineers to explore different areas of the stack based on their strengths and interests.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field completed (or completing) between December 2024 and September 2026.
  • Evidence of building projects, such as internships, shipped side projects, open-source contributions, or hackathon results (links to GitHub, live apps, or write-ups are encouraged).
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
  • Ability to quickly learn new languages and systems.
  • Genuine excitement about crypto and DeFi (prior crypto experience is not required).
  • Ability to work from the New York office 5 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building on or around crypto (e.g., contracts, bots, dashboards, hackathon projects).
  • Demonstrated depth in tools and technologies used, rather than a broad list of keywords.
  • Experience in competitive programming, CTFs, research, or open-source work.
  • A love for unicorns.

Responsibilities

  • Ship well-tested production code used by millions across web, backend services, infrastructure, and smart contracts.
  • Work closely with an assigned senior mentor and engineering pod through pairing and code review.
  • Gain ownership of features and contribute to building complete products rather than just components.
  • Move across different parts of the technology stack as skills and interests develop.
  • Work in person with the team at the NYC headquarters, 5 days a week.
