Software Engineer, Developer Platform
About The Position
At Numeric, we’re building the modern data platform for accounting and finance. We’re building the financial platform that realizes the dream of live, rich, trustworthy data and insights for companies to drive decision-making & execution. Our Dev Platform team accelerates and empowers the rest of the company to build and ship confidently on shared patterns. You’ll build the systems that accelerate development internally. This includes our in-house tooling for remote development environments, various internal tools and networking, shared AI tools, and more. This is a role that requires proactive agency: you’re an experienced engineer with a generalist skill set. You’re excited to seek out opportunities to up-level the rest of the org, have the knowledge & creativity to think of multiple solutions to a problem, and have the judgment to decide what’s a good fit given the people and context of the organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building software
- Experience with AWS
- Confidence with general topics of networking, security, infrastructure, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Expertise and a substantial track record in building systems for testing, especially for data-rich environments
- Advanced personal AI development workflow
