Software Engineer-Developer 2
About The Position
Indotronix is seeking a Software Engineer-Developer 2 to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications in a secure environment. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing user feedback, conducting software research and development, and implementing modern technologies, tools, and frameworks to support business objectives. Key responsibilities include handling user inquiries, recommending software improvements, executing and documenting R&D projects, developing and maintaining applications using VB, C#, .NET, and .NET Framework, developing and maintaining database-driven applications, implementing current and emerging software development tools, technologies, and frameworks, participating in testing, debugging, and software quality initiatives, supporting Agile development processes and continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Ability to meet DoD 8140 foundational requirements.
- 1+ year of experience with VB, C#, .NET, and/or .NET Framework.
- 1+ year of experience with SQL or other relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience with VB, C#, .NET, and/or .NET Framework.
- 2+ years of experience with SQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with .NET Framework (WinForms).
- Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
- Knowledge of C++.
- Agile development experience.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
Responsibilities
