About The Position

Indotronix is seeking a driven Software Engineer / Certified LabVIEW Developer 2 to join our innovative team in Sunnyvale, CA. In this dynamic role, you will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of data acquisition software for production FAT testing, utilizing your LabVIEW expertise to support advanced engineering initiatives. Requirements

  • Proficient in developing test software with LabVIEW programming language
  • Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) credential required
  • Experience with PLC ladder logic programming and communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP and Modbus
  • 2–5 years of relevant software engineering experience

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years developing test software with LabVIEW
  • Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) certification
  • Advanced experience programming Allen Bradley PLCs and working with NI PXI platforms

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust data acquisition software using LabVIEW for production FAT testing of diverse products and programs
  • Author comprehensive user manuals for test operators and support ongoing software improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve test software issues efficiently
  • Integrate analytical tools and automate report generation for optimal test operations
  • Create and maintain tools to support test preparation, data analysis, issue tracking, and performance metrics
  • Develop advanced tools for test metrics trending and statistical analysis reporting
  • Build training curriculum and materials to mentor engineers on LabVIEW software programming and standards
  • Lead a team in LabVIEW programming for test stand software projects
  • Provide ongoing software maintenance, technical support, and drive future software development initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and upgrade data acquisition system (DAS) hardware and software requirements
  • Ensure adherence to software standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Program Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic and integrate with NI PXI platform
