About The Position

Join Lockheed Martin's dynamic team working on the cutting edge of aerospace technology. We provide training systems for the world's most advanced systems, including the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. As a key member of our Software Engineering team, you will perform as a Software Engineer in the Enterprise Sustainment Solutions Business area. You will contribute to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the software development life cycle, enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements, and plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. You will also design, develop, document, test, and debug software that solves business/mission problems using logical and mathematical methods, and apply established standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Additionally, you will translate high-level requirements into detailed software specifications and design documents.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering related discipline with the development life cycle as a software engineer
Proficiency in one or more of the following: SQL, Oracle database, Python
Experience with Gitlab or equivalent CI/CD tools
Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Experience providing software Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to support engineering proposals
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Experience with learning and implementing new tools/languages
Experience integrating newer tools and technologies into established programs to improve software-process efficiency
Experience with live/virtual/constructive simulation
