About The Position

MONTICELLOAM, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to support Trustwell Living, its affiliated senior living management company. The role involves consolidating data from various systems into a single source of truth and building essential tools for daily operations. Trustwell Living manages 41 senior living communities across the US, overseeing all aspects of operations from clinical care to staffing and financial management. The Software Engineer will be responsible for the data pipelines and warehouse that centralize operational data, and will build reporting, dashboards, and internal applications to drive operational decisions. This is a fully in-person role requiring candidates to work onsite at the office location.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of work experience building and deploying software end to end – from concept through production
  • Strong Python skills across data engineering, backend services, and APIs
  • Hands-on experience building data pipelines and transformations (Airflow, dbt, or similar)
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and SQL
  • Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • DevOps experience – Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and AWS
  • Front-end development with React
  • Git and CI/CD practices
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and safeguarding protected health information (PHI), given the resident data we handle

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the primary engineering resource for Trustwell Living, taking projects end to end – from business problem to deployed, production solution
  • Designing and building the data pipelines that bring data from all our systems into a single, reliable source of truth (Snowflake, Airflow, dbt)
  • Building full-stack internal applications – React front ends on Python APIs, including CRUD tools – that put data directly in front of business users
  • Developing the reporting and dashboards that support day-to-day operations and portfolio decisions
  • Evolving our data models and warehouse architecture
  • Developing data quality frameworks and automated QC processes
  • Contributing to deployment, CI/CD, and monitoring that keep our systems running reliably
  • Contributing to AI initiatives across processes and analytics, including helping shape new AI solutions
