M7 Health is seeking a hands-on Software Engineer, Data & Integrations to lead a team responsible for the integrations connecting M7 to health systems' core platforms. This role involves owning, scaling, and extending existing integrations with time and attendance (UKG, Symplr) and HRIS (Workday, ADP) systems, as well as building new ones. It's a player-coach role, with approximately 70% hands-on engineering and 30% leadership. The engineer will be responsible for the integration layer, including data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation, ensuring data reliability for M7's AI-powered features. Collaboration with product, activations, and customer IT, payroll, and HR teams is key to scoping environments, getting integrations live, and maintaining them. Success in the first six months involves being hands-on in the codebase, taking ownership of the integration layer's operational health, building strong cross-functional relationships, and shipping or de-risking new integrations. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with a strong background in data and integrations, comfortable with APIs, data schemas, and building reliable systems. They should also be adept at engaging with external stakeholders and have an interest in AI-native tooling. M7 Health values urgency, curiosity, kindness, and a high standard of craft, with a passion for improving healthcare operations.
