Software Engineer - Cloud Volumes

Requirements

Must have good communication skills
Must have Golang and Python programming experience
Experience with general understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practices
Experience developing and delivering REST, JSON, XML based APIs for configuration, reporting, etc
Experience programming on Linux platform
Experience using relational database preferably PostgreSQL, and NoSQL database preferably Redis
Experience with Microservice architecture
Basic knowledge of relevant software and tools (e.g., Go Lang, Python, Database, message queues, REST API)

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, coding, and testing code to drive the core workflows according to project requirements and established software development standards.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system defects. This includes debugging code, resolving configuration issues, and fixing software defects.
Analyze the performance of systems, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions.
Optimize code, database queries, server configurations, or other areas to improve performance.
Work closely with other team members, including senior engineers, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and database administrators, during all stages of development.
Document functionality, design, development, and testing strategies.
Demonstrates outstanding proficiency in both written and oral communication.
