Requirements
- Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
- Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Or nine years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Experience writing Bash, Python, or PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows
- Extensive software development experience with Java
- Experience using an integrated development environment such as the Atlassian plugin software developer kit, SDK, or Visual Studio Code
- Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible
- Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration
- Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence
- Experience sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment
- Experience interacting with and training external customers
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain tools and services that support Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian platform capabilities
- Build automations and workflows that reduce administrative overhead and improve team productivity
- Write scripts in Bash, Python, or PHP to automate tasks and streamline operations
- Support seamless integrations across teams, systems, and mission workflows
- Develop and maintain containerized services running in Linux and Kubernetes environments
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and platform documentation
- Partner with cross-functional teams and mission customers to deliver practical, reliable solutions
