Responsibilities

• Execute technical solutions for engineering tasks within defined projects, focusing on Newness levels 1-2 (fully applied or design based on existing rules).
• Actively participate in problem-solving initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers, applying Valeo standard methodologies like QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) to analyze issues and contribute to solution finding.
• Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and presentations, to effectively communicate their work.
• Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within the Discipline, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Discipline Junior Engineers, fostering their onboarding and skill development.
• Apply existing design standards effectively in their work, ensuring alignment with Valeo's guidelines and best practices.
• Actively adopt and utilize digital tools and processes outlined in the Discipline's Digitalization Roadmap to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for optimization within their scope of work and suggesting improvements to existing processes.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing solutions or develop new approaches.
• Develop an understanding of intellectual property protection and contribute to the identification of potentially patentable inventions.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders within the team, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers and team members to achieve project objectives and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Demonstrate awareness of project budgets and strive to optimize resource utilization within their scope of work.
