Netflix launched a new ad-supported tier in November 2022 to offer members more choice in how they consume their content. This new tier allows Netflix to attract new members at a lower price point, while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach audiences that are deeply engaged. The Ads Platform Engineering teams build advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using Netflix's world-class content delivery ecosystem. The Ads Pricing and Packaging team is responsible for developing cutting-edge inventory management systems which support various monetization strategies, including dynamic pricing, rate card management, product packaging, inventory segmentation, and yield optimization. This team is new and faced with the ambition of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to the business by monetizing its content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space, the team seeks to build unique value propositions to differentiate from the competition and become a market leader.
