The position applies computer science, discrete mathematics, probability, statistics, and related disciplines to develop scalable, effective software. It also generalizes development techniques across domains, creates technical documentation and training materials, and presents briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders. The role requires advanced programming and analytical skills, as well as the ability to deliver reliable software that meets evolving mission requirements. Candidates must meet one of the stated education and experience combinations: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a qualifying related field with at least 11 years of relevant experience; a master's degree with at least 9 years; a doctoral degree with at least 7 years; or an associate's degree with at least 13 years, which may be considered for candidates with substantial directly related experience. A Computer Science degree is preferred; qualifying related degrees must include foundational Computer Science coursework. Relevant experience must include software development and programming across applicable phases of the software development process. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required. The listed hourly pay range is $92.54–$125.31. Compensation depends on factors including contract rates, education, experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Wyetech describes its culture as focused on technological innovation and solving problems for federal government customers.
