About The Position

SageCor Solutions is hiring a Software Integration Engineer to support engineering and full-lifecycle systems engineering work involving high-performance computing, large-data analytics, and information technologies. The role serves Maryland and the greater Washington, D.C. area and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Initially, as much as 50% of the workday may involve system-administration tasks while learning the systems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• 10 years of experience and a bachelor's degree, or 15 years of experience.
• IAT II.
• Linux experience; the listed distributions are RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, and Ubuntu.
• Python, C, and BASH.
• Experience with Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins and managing feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards.
• Salt and Ansible for automation.
• Prometheus for metrics.
• Familiarity with Gitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and Slurm.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-administration tasks while learning the systems.
• Work with Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins and manage feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards.
• Use Salt and Ansible for automation.
• Use Prometheus for metrics and support a move toward additional customized Grafana dashboards.
