The Partner Test Tech team is responsible for ensuring a high-quality Netflix experience on smart TVs and set-top devices. We achieve this by building and maintaining device automation and infrastructure. We measure our effectiveness by leveraging real-time metrics and alerts to gain insight.

Requirements

Experience working with and troubleshooting consumer electronics
Strong coding skills in JavaScript / TypeScript or Python and experience with automation frameworks
AI-native and use it to drive improvements and efficiency
Take ownership of projects to drive them with minimal direction and prioritize appropriately
Empathy for the developer experience and seek out areas to improve developer productivity
Implemented CI/CD systems and operated production services
Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive medium and large-scale projects
Growth mindset - eager to learn anything

Nice To Haves

Experience with web technologies, from network protocols to AWS services
Experience with graphics and video streaming
Background in Linux or Android automation

Responsibilities

Improve the developer experience and change-velocity in JavaScript repositories.
Drive the shape of the testing pyramid along with efficient coding patterns in test automation
Drive diversity and stability across a fleet of in-house CE devices using data-driven approaches to ensure the efficient use of devices
Gather and analyze metrics in collaboration with internal teams to identify trends and opportunities to improve the testing effort at a lower cost
