About The Position

This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Software engineering experience developing enterprise web applications and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, object-oriented programming (OOP), and modern software design principles.
  • Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven services.
  • Hands-on proficiency with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, and troubleshooting complex UI issues.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, relational database design, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, including cloud-native application development and deployment.
  • Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, Git, Jira, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of application security, OWASP principles, authentication/authorization frameworks, secure coding practices

Nice To Haves

  • experience with AI-enabled development, Agentic AI, or intelligent automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and web services to support enterprise applications and digital experiences.
  • Develop modern, responsive user interfaces while following established frontend standards, best practices, and reusable component patterns.
  • Create and optimize database solutions using SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Contribute to application modernization efforts by enhancing legacy applications and supporting migration to modern web and cloud-native architectures.
  • Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests to improve software quality and reliability.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and automated deployment processes to accelerate software delivery.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives.
