About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer 2 to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of software development principles, a proven ability to lead technical teams, and expertise in handling complex mission requirements. The ideal candidate will translate these requirements into scalable software designs and technical roadmaps, manage massive datasets, and oversee rigorous quality assurance procedures. Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools is essential for managing automated CI/CD environments.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Minimum 14 years of experience in high-complexity software contracts and programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
• Mastery of Python, C, or C++ with experience in multi-platform (Windows/UNIX) architecture.
• Demonstrated experience leading software teams and mentoring junior developers.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
• Front End development experience.
• Superior problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering under tight resource constraints.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex mission requirements into scalable software designs and technical roadmaps.
• Handle massive datasets and optimize performance for high-stakes environments.
• Lead the creation of global test plans and oversee the execution of rigorous QA procedures.
• Manage automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
• Lead software teams and mentor junior developers.
