As a Software DevOps Cloud Engineer within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Strongsville-OH, Dallas-TX or Pittsburgh-PA. The Software DevOps/Cloud Engineer role supports cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform operations within Azure. The position is designed for an early-career engineer looking to build expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and operational excellence while contributing to secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise solutions.
Requirements

- Ability to contribute to secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise solutions.
- Strong technical curiosity, communication skills, and a desire to grow in cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform operations.
- Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
- Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities
- Support Azure cloud infrastructure and platform operations.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and deployment automation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability, performance, and security of cloud environments.
- Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, and operational support.
- Partner with senior engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices.
- Contribute to monitoring, logging, documentation, and platform standardization efforts.
- Develops, tests and implements software solutions.
- Designs software solutions to address business needs.
- Writes code, tests and deploys software.
- Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
- Maintains and debugs software.
