Software Development Specialist
About The Position
A Senior Software Developer is required to provide technical leadership, design expertise, development, implementation, and ongoing support for enterprise applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing and enhancing business-critical solutions while ensuring alignment with organizational standards, security requirements, and long-term technology strategies. The role involves leading technical initiatives through the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), collaborating with business stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and delivering scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications.
Requirements
- Strong experience with enterprise application architecture, design, and development.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and web services (REST, JSON, AJAX).
- Experience developing web applications using: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS
- Experience with: Python, VBA, .NET, C++, C#, SQL, SDK-based development
- Experience working with relational and multi-dimensional databases.
- Experience supporting application deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident management.
- Knowledge of Information Management principles, standards, and best practices.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build consensus and resolve competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Experience working closely with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams.
- Strong documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise solutions.
- Lead the analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, integration, and deployment of application solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations to stakeholders to support business goals and objectives.
- Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses for proposed initiatives.
- Lead technical resources through all stages of the SDLC, including planning, scheduling, estimating, monitoring progress, and reporting project status.
- Design and develop complex applications utilizing relational and multi-dimensional databases.
- Support implementation activities and provide post-implementation support as required.
- Evaluate software, hardware, tools, technologies, and integration approaches.
- Establish and improve development standards, quality controls, and performance metrics.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior technical team members.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, installation guides, operational procedures, and build documentation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and project teams to define and deliver business solutions.
