About The Position

The Software Development Specialist 4 plays a key role at the board. In this position, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders to understand, design, and implement solutions to business requirements. You will also lead and perform investigation and analysis of technology and processes to improve how the agency creates software. Additionally, you will serve as a primary developer and architect of the enterprise shared services and APIs leveraged by the entire application portfolio. This role requires expertise in Azure DevOps (Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Artifacts) and Azure infrastructure automation, including the ability to deploy, configure, and scale Azure resources, incident response, and observability to ensure high availability in the cloud system and performance.

Requirements

  • 60 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: providing solutions design, developing project plans with project manager or recommending approach through defining tasks AND/OR leading meetings relating to programs for computer applications including 12 months' work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
  • OR completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems AND 42 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: providing solutions design, developing project plans with project manager or recommending approach through defining tasks and/or leading meetings relating to programs for computer applications including 12 months' work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
  • OR completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems AND 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: providing solutions design, developing project plans with project manager or recommending approach through defining tasks and/or leading meetings relating to programs for computer applications including 12 months' work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
  • OR equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
