Evolver Federal is looking for a Software Development Lead to join our team supporting our federal client located onsite in Bethesda, MD. This position requires a hybrid work environment with onsite work 3-5 days per week in Bethesda, MD depending on the requirements of the program.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree along with at least 8 years of relevant work experience
  • 8 years of software development and technical delivery leadership experience.
  • 8 years of experience with C#, Angular, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, SharePoint/SPSE/M365, SQL Server/Azure SQL, Azure, AI solution delivery, business/process analysis, CI/CD, and GitHub
  • 8 years of experience leading Agile/iterative/modern SDLC delivery

Nice To Haves

  • A Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology
  • 10 years of software development and technical delivery leadership experience.
  • 10 years of experience with C#, Angular, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, SharePoint/SPSE/M365, SQL Server/Azure SQL, Azure, AI solution delivery, business/process analysis, CI/CD, and GitHub
  • 10 years of experience leading Agile/iterative/modern SDLC delivery

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
  • Coordinate with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem solutions and user satisfaction.
  • Make recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations.
  • Prepare milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.
