About The Position

Entarian is seeking an experienced Software Development Lead to oversee the deployment and operation of a complex space mission operations capability supporting DoD mission requirements. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in software development. The selected candidate will provide project leadership across engineering, operations, cybersecurity, integration, and mission support functions. This role will assist in overseeing the planning, execution, integration, operational readiness, and sustainment of a mission-focused capability designed to provide resilient, scalable, and secure comms provisioning and data transport with operational support across distributed environments.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret / SCI eligible security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information technology , C omputer s cience, E ngineering, or related technical discipline. ( Equivalent experience may be considered. )
• Minimum ten (10 ) years of Software Engineering experience with a combination of:
• Node.js development skills
• React experience
• Python experience
• Kubernetes experience
• AWS experience
• Experience with large distributed data systems at scale
• API design and development experience
• SQL database management experience
• Good technical communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% to support customer locations, mission partner engagements, and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of mid-level engineers on contract execution
• Overseeing deployments at government facilities
• Directing integration of software with satellite communication systems (sat-to-sat, sat-to-ground, ground-to-ground)
• Ensuring 99.9% uptime across distributed communication networks
• Stakeholder Communication: Interface with government contracting officers, program managers, and technical stakeholders
