Software Development Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
A Medline internship provides real-world, hands-on experience where you can make a true impact. Interns take ownership of projects while gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities of their roles. Beyond the work itself, the summer experience includes enriching opportunities such as social and networking events, leadership presentations, community service activities, and more. Through meaningful work and professional development experiences, you’ll build a tangible skillset that helps set you apart from your peers. Our internships span a variety of business areas and are open to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Designed to support both personal and professional growth, the 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.
Requirements
- Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Background in SAP Manufacturing/Supply Chain/EWM processes or Computer Science
- Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent organization, communication, data analysis and follow up skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization
Responsibilities
- Work on projects to enhance Manufacturing applications to drive efficiency within our teams.
- Partner with business sponsors, analysts, developers, and management to lead their project to success.
- Implementation of new features/enhancements to existing IS applications
- SAP S4HANA rollouts
- Implement robotic process automation to reduce manual processes within the team
- Help map out processes and identify opportunities for improvement to documentation and the flow of data through the business systems
