Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• 4 years in any job title involving experience building Java web applications.
• 4 years designing and developing robust web applications and APIs
• 4 years working with SQL or NoSQL databases
• 4 years developing applications using modern web development frameworks and technologies
• 4 years using code version control systems including Git or SVN
• 3 years performing database design, optimization, and performance tuning for query efficiency
• 3 years working with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
• 3 years deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• 3 years creating and managing application monitoring tools using Datadog
• 2 years working with MongoDB, ArgoCD, Kubernetes or Helm Charts
• 2 years working with logging tools including Grafana or OpenSearch
• 1 year integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and increase team productivity
• 1 year making data-driven decisions by helping build data pipelines with reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate, and document software architecture.
• Develop features and components for non-production and production environments.
• Write automated testing to ensure code coverage of the software services.
• Design and develop scalable payment services and solutions, redesign key components, refactor existing code, and write MySQL and NoSQL data migration scripts.
• Optimize database queries, perform code reviews, and improve the code quality.
• Design and implement REST APIs, integrating them with mobile apps, web dashboards, payment devices, and third-party applications.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams on project planning, technical debt resolutions, and software feature development.
• Participate in rotational support calls to troubleshoot production issues and coordinate timely solutions with customer support teams.
• Conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements.
