About The Position

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing critical general web based and AI-embedded applications for Zoom. You will collaborate closely with teams from AI, Meeting, Phone, Big data, Data Engineering, and Cloud-Native to build business features of Zoom products. The ideal candidate will majorly focus on back-end development and have experience interacting with the front-end.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 3 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models (including CV, NLP, or recommendation) into production environments, including model evaluation and post release monitoring;
• 3 years of experience building and operating scalable software or microservices that expose AI functionality via APIs or SDKs and integrating those services with existing systems;
• 3 years of experience creating and maintaining automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability (logging/metrics/alerts) to support reliable AI/ML releases;
• 3 years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines for model training and inference, including data validation, transformation, and versioning;
• 3 years of experience authoring and maintaining technical documentation for algorithms, system architecture, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, research, and platform teams to clarify project objectives, data constraints, and success metrics;
• Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML algorithms and production services spanning AI agents, computer vision, natural language processing, and recommendation systems;
• Implement end to end model lifecycle -data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement;
• Ensure reliability and quality by conducting code reviews, writing automated tests (unit/integration), debugging failures, and addressing performance regressions;
• Document code, models, data pipelines, and operational runbooks for internal reuse, audits, and external stakeholders.
