CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Scottsdale, AZ: Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation
- One (1) year of experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, and GIT
- One (1) year of experience in Node.js
- One (1) year of experience in JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- One (1) year of experience in Frameworks: Angular and React
- One (1) year of experience in REST
- One (1) year of experience in Kubernetes
- One (1) year of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- One (1) year of experience in MySQL and SQL
- One (1) year of experience in Typescript
- One (1) year of experience in Object-oriented JavaScript
- One (1) year of experience in Writing application code and deploying to production
- One (1) year of experience in Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases
- One (1) year of experience in Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions
- One (1) year of experience in Working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end user feedback and human centered design
Responsibilities
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements
- Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation
- Upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing
- Develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes
- Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD
- Support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices
