About The Position

Design and implement Cloud infrastructure. Responsible for architecture, designing, development and ownership of critical platform services. Design, develop, and operate a Kubernetes based public cloud platform to host Workday's applications. Deliver products to customers and ensure high availability, security, performance and cost efficiency across major public clouds and its own private clouds. Write code and automation to build, operate and maintain the orchestration of the platform. Build continuous delivery pipelines to provision/upgrade the platform across regions and clouds through automation.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis, or one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
Systems and Operations experience on a Public Cloud platform
Agile environments or Agile development methodologies
Running server orchestration solutions in production using Kubernetes, Mesos, Docker Swarm, or other solutions
Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
