About The Position

The Apple Ads PMO team is looking for a software engineer who will design and develop scalable systems for the ads engineering organization. We are looking for a results-oriented and versatile engineer who can excel in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in designing and maintaining full-stack web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience
- Strong coding skills in Java, Node.js, and React, with backend data store experience in PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and backend data processing pipelines
- Ability to stay updated on emerging technologies like AI/ML, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and Agentic AI, and apply them to build innovative internal tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
Nice To Haves
- Strong Infrastructure and DevOps containerization experience with Docker
- Experience building integrations with large language model (LLM) APIs - AI assistant functionality
- Proven experience developing internal tools, automation scripts, and workflow integrations
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable systems for program and portfolio management
- Partner with EPMs (Engineering Program Managers), finance analysts, product, and engineers to design, develop, and implement solutions, tools, frameworks and components that will enable us to improve operational efficiency.
- Build dashboards and tools that provide real-time insight into spend, staffing, and operational health
- Continuously improve processes to increase predictability and efficiency in how we plan and track work
