About The Position

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Yunex Traffic software products and intelligent transportation solutions through the planning, development, execution, and documentation of testing activities. This role partners closely with Product Management, Software Development, Systems Engineering, and Project Management teams to verify requirements, develop test strategies, identify defects, and support continuous improvement throughout the product development lifecycle. The SDET analyzes requirements, develops and executes manual and automated test cases, validates software functionality, participates in design and architecture reviews, and supports the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer and regulatory requirements. The role contributes to product quality standards, development processes, and testing methodologies that support Yunex Traffic's traffic management, mobility, and intelligent transportation systems solutions. Our SDETs write the automated tests that let the team ship with confidence, but automation alone isn’t enough — manual and exploratory testing still catch what scripts can’t, and knowing when to lean on each is part of the job.
