About The Position

Join the team in Orlando, Florida, as a Test Equipment Technician focused on calibration. The role ensures the precision and reliability of advanced optical and electronic measurement equipment. It is a first-shift position, Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., working with calibration technology in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in optics measurement and physical calibration.
Hands-on expertise with test measurement calibration tools.
Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with Indy Soft calibration software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

5 years of experience in calibration or a related field.
Advanced knowledge of statistical process controls.
Previous work in high-precision manufacturing or laboratory environments.

Responsibilities

Calibrate, test, and maintain optical, electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydro-mechanical measuring instruments to meet industry standards.
Set up calibration sequences and procedures using specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective test-equipment components.
Operate and maintain calibration tools, including interferometers, autocollimators, optical alignment scopes, IR equipment, oscilloscopes, RF generators, and DMMs.
Monitor and verify equipment quality using statistical process control methods.
Document calibration procedures and outcomes using Microsoft Office Suite and the Indy Soft calibration system.
