Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience/skills.
  • Five (5) years of experience with object-oriented programming
  • Five (5) years of experience with Restful web services
  • Five (5) years of experience with mobile software engineering practices and design patterns including MVC
  • Four (4) years of experience with Performance Testing and Network Testing with an understanding of memory management, data structures and dependency management
  • Three (3) years of experience with Automated Testing
  • Three (3) years of experience working with Apple's platforms with any one or a combination of Objective C or Swift
  • Two (2) years of experience with any one or a combination of MVVM or SDUI.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, debugging and modifying components of software applications and tools
  • Driving technical direction of software development at the application and product level for small to mid-sized projects
  • Designing and developing specifications and scheduling and providing quality software implementation of a component or feature of 1-3 months in duration
  • Proposing improvements in design and processes
  • Translating requirements into code
  • Programming and performing testing and debugging, while ensuring adherence to defined software engineering processes
  • Providing improvements to software solutions for a given problem and resolving problems and roadblocks as they occur
  • Completing development documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance of software applications and tools
  • Actively participating in group technology reviews to critique work of self and others
  • Working collaboratively with all members of technical staff and collaborating with program management and testing peers in the development of assigned components
  • Participating in and providing input to requirements definition, as well as providing solid judgment calls and tradeoff analysis.
