This role is part of the software engineering organization responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and mobile applications that support therapy delivery, patient engagement, and clinical outcomes in a regulated medical device environment. This position is responsible for defining, implementing, executing, and documenting software for the next generation of Pelvic Health software products. The activities will encompass all facets and phases of software engineering, meeting all regulatory standards, to realize complex, innovative, high reliability systems that improve the quality of life of people around the world. As a Software Engineer, you will be working with a motivated, diverse, and knowledgeable development teams to deliver world-class products. This role requires the ability to understand moderately complex technologies, coupled with the technical skills to transpose both into exceptional products that delight users. This is a highly trusted position that requires an individual to think independently, be decisive, and need minimum supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years of experience or Masters Degree with 0+ years of experience required.
  • Experience with Java

  • Experience developing, testing, and debugging software applications.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle processes and technical documentation.
  • Experience working with object-oriented programming languages and software development tools.
  • Experience developing web and mobile applications.
  • Experience in the medical device, healthcare technology, or other regulated industry.

  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.
  • Determines systems software design requirements.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
  • Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
  • May work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs.
