We're seeking a self-directed Software Engineer to drive innovation in additive manufacturing (AM) through factory digitization and automation. You'll develop cutting-edge software platforms for real-time analysis and decision-making, leveraging cloud technologies, data science, and distributed systems to accelerate product delivery. Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms with proven ability to apply them to domain-specific applications
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (ie. React, Vue JS)
  • Familiarity with modern programming languages (ie. Python, JS, C#, Java)
  • 3 plus years' experience interacting with and developing APIs (REST, GraphQL), and building applications on them in a production environment
  • Experience with software deployment technologies and CI/CD
  • 3 plus years' experience with hands-on experience building applications with LLMs, neural networks, or ML models, and utilizing AI-assisted coding tools in software development workflows.
  • A strong capability to work independently, self-start and manage, and collaborate deeply with a cross-functional team
  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms and Terraform
  • Experience in a manufacturing and production environment
  • Familiarity with rich user interface development across desktop and mobile devices

Responsibilities

  • Own and support the design, implementation, and deployment of successful internet-scale features and code in support of AM and associated systems
  • Own software solutions through inception, design, delivery, and lifecycle support
  • Produce quality user requirements and user documentation defining organizational and enterprise-level applications
  • Collaborate deeply as a developer embedded in a multi-functional team of SWEs, AM Subject Matter Experts and end users.
