Join the CORE Call Reporting team at GoTo — a backend developer team at the heart of the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) platform. We build and maintain the APIs, data pipelines, and storage systems that power voice call reporting and analytics for internal teams and external integrators. You will work full-time alongside a dedicated technical lead to design and build resilient microservices and real-time data infrastructure using Kafka, Apache Flink, StarRocks, and PostgreSQL across a Java/Kotlin, Golang, and Python stack deployed on AWS, Docker, and Terraform. You will also contribute to the team's forward-looking roadmap, including AI agentic development workflows and the foundation for intelligent automation at scale.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience in software development with Java/Kotlin and Golang, with solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases
Familiarity with microservices architecture, SaaS product environments, and a strong bias toward performant and efficient solution design
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and GitHub (versioning and Actions)
Comfortable working in a Unix-based environment (Linux for containerized workloads, macOS for local development)
Fluency in English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, customers and partners (or suppliers) who are mostly located outside Quebec. For positions in research and development, it is also necessary to understand the technical and scientific documentation of our industry, most of which is available in English.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL with Flink, OLAP with StarRocks) is a plus
Self-motivated and collaborative, with an eagerness to contribute to the team's transition toward Agentic Workflow development

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain software services and tests in Java, Golang, and Python
Build and improve automated reporting pipelines and developer tooling to enhance team productivity
Propose continuous improvements and actively contribute to architectural decisions across microservices, OLTP/OLAP databases, and ETL pipelines
Deploy, monitor, and maintain production services within a Kubernetes environment
Leverage Agentic Coding practices (GitHub Copilot / Claude) to deliver value safely and iteratively within the team
Work embedded within an Agile team with clear deliverables, defined acceptance criteria, and regular check-ins with your technical lead
